The Rosarito Student Film Festival is a week-long workshop made possible by a collaboration of alums, faculty and students of Emerson College, RediscoveRosarito, The L.A. Internship Program, Campus Movie Fest, the Rosarito Beach Hotel, and the former Mayor of Rosarito, Hugo Torres.
As part of an effort to project a positive image of the town of Rosarito, the film festival offers students an opportunity to develop and produce a film from their vantage point on Rosarito.

Working in teams, the students are given a camera, tripod, microphone, and computer and have one week to shoot and edit a film. All equipment is donated by Campus MovieFest, the world’s largest film festival. The students’ final product will be viewed at the Baja Film Studios and an awards ceremony will follow, wrapping up the weeklong event.

Taller gratuito de realización de cortometraje y documental con el fin de ofrecerle una voz a los jovenes de Rosarito y una oportunidad de representar a su ciudad a través de los medios audiovisuales. El taller se llevará a cabo en el Hotel Rosarito del sabado 6 de agosto al sabado 13, concluyendo con la premier de los videos el domingo 14 en la sala de cine de los Estudios Baja.
